All the glitz and glamour of 1940s Hollywood, this glorious cocktail ring was made in the spirit of the roaring ’40s (which drew influence from the rings of the aristocracy in the Victorian Era). A ring for a Diva, it would look right at home with a style icon like Bette Davis or Ginger Rogers. The centre stone is a deep purple natural amethyst of approximately six carats. It is surrounded by a halo of reclaimed antique Old Mine Cut diamonds with a combined carat weight of approximately 2.25 carats. Made by contemporary jewellers Wabby’s of Newport Beach, California, this ring has all the glamour of times past but the benefit of a brand new custom made setting so you can wear this standout statement jewel with confidence. Manufacture: Modelled in 14ct yellow and white gold, multi-piece cast, hand assembled with gemstones hand set. Stamped 14k to the inside of the band with the makers mark Wabby. The gemstones are set in white gold, the open ring bowl plate and flat square shank in yellow gold. The gold fineness has been verified by XRF test. The centre stone is an oval cut natural amethyst in an intense deep purple. It is eye clean and measures 15mm x 11mm – approximately 6 carats. The diamond halo is formed by sixteen old mine cut diamonds with a range of sizes, colour and clarities – they average between 1.9mm to 3.5mm in diameter, I-K in colour and P1 clarity. The total combined weight is approximately 2.25 carats. The gemstones have all been verified as natural earth mined gems by an independent gemologist. The face of the ring measures 23mm x 18.2mm. Sits 6.41mm high on the finger. Weighs 8.39 grams.
