Banding Together : Vintage Half Eternity Ring with Diamonds and Australian Blue Sapphires

A hard wearing mid-century half eternity band, perfect for busy hands. Set with three Australian blue sapphires and two modern brilliant cut diamonds in 9ct yellow gold, circa 1960. Manufacture:  Modelled in 9ct yellow gold, hallmarked T9k to the inside of the band, the metal content has been verified by XRF test. A makers mark of a triangle can also be found inside the band, I have unfortunately not been able to identify this maker. The band is set with five round cut gemstones, each of approximately 2.7mm in diameter. Each stone is housed in a square plaque with a deep ridge between each. The gemstones are each securely flush set with four beads of gold. The gemstones have been verified by an independent accredited gemologist as natural diamonds and natural blue sapphires of Australian origin. The diamonds have ben graded as G-I in colour and Vs clarity. The band is 3.81mm wide, tapering to 2.15mm wide at the back. Sits low on the finger at 2.25mm. Weighs 2.56 grams. Size:  (Aus/UK) N (USA) 6.75 (International) 53.5 somewhat resizable Condition: In very good vintage condition, with signs of wear commensurate with age. The centre sapphire has a scratch on the table, visible under magnification and occasionally in raking light. Ready for immediate and everyday wear.
