A true “machine age” jewel from the interwar period (1918 -1939), this late Art Deco ring is almost severe in its angular geometry. A row of five single cut diamonds, each one in a star shaped setting, set into platinum. A magnificent stacking ring that has enough presence to be worn alone. If you’re not into solitaires but fancy some vintage sparkles for your engagement ring, this would be an excellent candidate. Manufacture Modelled in 18ct yellow gold with a platinum top. The ring is stameped to the inside of the band 18ct PLAT for 18ct gold and platinum. The metal fineness has been verified by XRF test. The top plate is made of platinum with the undercarriage and half-round shank in 18ct yellow gold. Five single cut diamonds stretch across the platinum face of the ring, each one in a star shaped setting. The centre diamond has a diameter of approximately 3mm, with the four diamonds on either side measuring 2mm diameter. The ring has a combined weight of approximately 0.22 carats. The diamonds have been verified by an independent gemologist as natural earth mined diamonds. The face of the ring measures 18.31mm x 4.31mm Sits 3.5mm high on the finger. Weighs 2.82 grams.
