Description Outboard Gear Oil Refill Pump The quart pump fits standard quart bottles with 28mm caps and comes with long and short suction tubes to accommodate both tall and short bottles. Each stroke delivers a consistent 8cc flow rate, while the 18-inch clear flexible hose allows easy pumping into hard-to-reach areas. The pump includes two interchangeable adapters: a 3/8″-16 thread adapter compatible with Mercury and Mariner outboards, and an 8mm aluminum adapter suitable for Yamaha, Nissan, Tohatsu, Honda, and Johnson Evinrude outboards. Built for durability and convenience, this oil transfer pump is perfect for marine, automotive, and small-engine service applications. Procedure to change Outboard Gear Oil is as follows: 1) Open bottom drain screw on Outboard Gearbox. 2) Open top level screw. 3)Drain Oil. 4) Screw Lube Pump pipe to the bottom drain hole. 5) Screw pump into Gear Oil bottle. 6) Pump oil until it starts coming out the top level screw. 7) Close top level screw (Ideally replace fibre gasket). 8) Unscrew lube pump from bottom drain hole and screw bottom screw back in (Ideally replace fibre gasket).
