Sold Another release from my own treasured collection, a covetable celestial bangle made in the Etruscan Revival style inspired by ancient relics of long lost European civilisations. This bangle is of English origin, with British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1898. Manufacture: Modelled in 9ct rose gold, with a full suite of British hallmarks for Birmingham 1898. The makers mark is indecipherable. The bangle is oval in shape and hinged on one side, closing with an integrated clasp. It is heavily embellished on the top with twin crescent moons in the Etruscan Revival style, with fine rope borders and decorative granulation. This style of bangle is meant to be worn close to the wrist – when fitted correctly the oval shape keeps the decorative side face up. The bangle is hollow in construction, but sturdy. The bangle is 13.87mm wide at the top, 4mm wide on the underside. Weighs 6.22 grams. Size: Internal circumference is 16cm / 6 1/4″. Will suit a small wrist, approximately 14 – 16cm. Condition: Excellent. No faults to note. Ready for immediate wear.
