Nuts About You : Antique Silver Albertina Bracelet with Acorn Sliders and Tassel

Sold Three little acorns adorn this antique silver Albertina – two slide along the twin foxtail chains, another is incorporated into the tassel. Originally this item was intended as a ladies watch chain, Albertinas are now worn by antiques enthusiasts as elegant and unique bracelets. Manufacture:  Handmade in 800 silver, there is an 800 hallmark on the dog clip. 800 silver purity was used in several of the countries in Continental Europe. It is harder wearing than 925 Sterling Silver due to the metal alloys. The bracelet is formed by two lengths of foxtail link (also known as wheat link) chain, terminating with large silver baubles. Two silver acorn ‘sliders’ can be moved across the chains to any position along the length. The chain has a dog clip at one end, and a large loop at the other to be used to fasten the chain. An acorn shaped tassel dangles from another short length of chain. The chain measures 18.5cm (7 1/4″) in length. It can also be worn at 21cm by fastening the dog clip into the tassel loop. Weighs 10.87 grams. Condition: In very good antique condition. Ready for immediate wear.
