I recently purchased the Vhedia head unit for my WRX STI along with the harness for the Harman Kardon (HK) system, and I have to say I am genuinely impressed. From start to finish, the experience has been smooth and professional. It’s rare these days to find a company that provides solid after-sales support, but the team at Vhedia absolutely delivers. I had a few issues after installation with the steering wheel controls and some audio distortion, and I was dealing with Alphie, the experience was fantastic. He was professional, patient, and clearly knew his stuff. With a few tweaks and quick responses, everything was sorted and working perfectly. The head unit itself is excellent. The sound and Bluetooth quality are noticeably better than the factory setup, and the screen is larger, sharper, and very responsive. It runs on Android, so it’s flexible and easy to use. The wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work flawlessly. In my experience with the factory CarPlay, you had to plug in a cable, and it would intermittently disconnect – this system uses wireless CarPlay and has been very reliable so far. Installation was straightforward thanks to the clear video guides, and the supplied tools made the process even easier. Once fitted, the unit looks neat and very close to OEM. The system is also packed with features and feels solid and stable. Honestly, these guys have nailed it. After-sales support is usually where most companies fail, but I’d say I really pushed their support to the limit, and every single time they went above and beyond. They just get it right. I have zero regrets and couldn’t be happier with the upgrade. Solid 10/10 from me.
