The Celtic cloak brooch was worn to hold the cloak or cape closed, it was used as a decorative button in its day as long ago as the 7th century.This brooch is handcrafted in alpaca silver, polished & lacquered to prevent tarnishing, it is decorated with black onyx semi precious stones also. It is approx. 10 cm by 6 cm in size.
