Sold These effortlessly stylish Italian made lever-back earrings are set with plaques of indigo blue lapis lazuli encased in 14ct yellow gold filigree. The bold blue peeks out from within its frame of yellow gold – even the backs of the earrings are decorated with golden leaves. If you like your denim in shades of indigo (I know I do), these earrings are the perfect pair to elevate your jeans ensemble. Manufacture  Modelled in 14ct yellow gold, stamped 14Kt Italy to the lever backs, the gold purity has been verified by XRF test. Lever-back earrings operate in exactly the way that you might expect from their name – a lever at the back of the ear hook opens and closes with a spring mechanism. The fasten securely behind the lobe to ensure that you never lose an earring. Dangling beneath the hook is a rounded square filigree frame in 14ct yellow gold with a slightly domed front face. It is reminiscent of the view from an arbour, with leafy vines framing a deep blue sky. The leaf-shapes are faceted and catch the light adding a little twinkle effect. The sides of the frame are solid, and the reverse features more leafy filigree. The earrings have a drop of 27.6mm. The lapis dangles measure approximately 11mm x 11mm x 4mm Weighs 3.15 grams (pair) Condition As new. These vintage earrings show no signs of having ever been worn.
