Razzle Dazzle : Art Deco Clip On Earrings in Silver with Blue Paste circa 1930s

Sold Imitating the hugely popular aquamarine or blue zircon jewels of the period, these silver clip on earrings feature large bright blue paste stones with a border of tiny leaves in the style of famed jewellery designer Rhoda Wager. Only a gemologist and her microscope could tell that these aren’t natural gemstones. A stunning vintage look. Manufacture:  Modelled in Sterling silver, stamped Silver to the back of each ear clip. Each earring is bezel set with a 10.9mm bright mid blue paste stone imitating aquamarine or blue zircon. The stone is bordered by a garland of stylised leaves. The earrings fasten with a spring clip to the reverse. Each earring measures 15mm diameter. Weighs 6.32 grams (pair) Condition:  Excellent vintage condition. The stones have no chips or abrasions, there is some gentle rubbing to the outside edge of the garland of leaves, visible only under magnification. Ready for immediate wear.
